The Emanuel Synagogue is committed to providing our members with spiritual support, meaningful programs, and a beautifully well-maintained building. In addition to dues, annual giving is essential to the life of every synagogue. Your generous support is appreciated and helps ensure The Emanuel continues into the future.
By distributing a portion of the annual fund earnings, Emanuel Endowment supports synagogue operations. With over $2 million in principal, the Endowment distributes over $80,000 each year. The principal grows as donations are added, ensuring synagogue support year after year. Anyone may participate in endowment giving!

Kol Nidre Annual Giving Appeal – Made prior to the High Holy Days. Pledge cards are mailed to current members. Pledge contributions may be made by returning the completed card OR online.
Planned Legacy Giving – Will or Trust bequest, Designated or Donor Advised Fund, Life insurance, Charitable gift annuity or Retirement Asset; all support the future of the Jewish community and The Emanuel Synagogue. Contact Naomi.Kleinman@gmail.com.
Gift Cards – A variety of options available, easier than shopping in – store, while supporting the synagogue, at no additional cost to you. Click for details. Cards also may be purchased at designated Synagogue events and meetings.
Qualified Charitable Distribution – “Qualified Charitable Distribution” (QCD), permits taxpayers age 70.5 years of age or older to make tax-free distributions to The Emanuel from any Individual Retirement Account (IRA) up to $100,000 per taxpayer, per tax year. CLICK for details.
Helping Hands is an Emanuel initiative to help those who are unable to pay dues. On your dues bill each year is a voluntary donation for this purpose. Click here to donate to help members in need.
